MetaSearch2 is a QGIS plugin to interact with metadata catalog services, supporting the OGC Catalog Service for the Web (CSW) standard. MetaSearch2 provides an easy and intuitive approach and user-friendly interface to searching metadata catalogs within QGIS. This version of MetaSearch uses the QGS network management infrastructure to handle HTTP requests. It integrates the authentication, proxy and SSL certificate infrastructure of QGIS.
